open bookThe first doctor in Harrison Hot Spring A.A. Farwell built a house on this property about 1892. When Dr. Farwell moved to Vancouver at 1896, (?)* Charles Elliot (registered with the B.C. College of Physicians and Surgeons on January 15, 1897) had bought the property from him, though the land transfer was not completed until late 1902.  The People of Harrison by Daphne Sleigh, Healing Waters by Belle Waters, Memories vol1 by Agassiz-Harrison Historical Society
* Dr. Farwell was still announced as resident of Harrison Hot Springs in 1898 Miner Newspaper
